Cremation Urn "The Donald" for the ashes of the U.S. Constitution.

This urn was conceived whilst watching the events of the 6th Jan 2021 unfold in Washington DC. It was not needed on that day and now we must do what we can to make sure it is never used for that purpose.

A limited edition of 6 pieces will be produced, with 50% of the profits to be given in support of voting rights.

Then this is how I made it.

A few small 3D prints were made at the development stage, followed by two full-size tests. There was a lot of work involved in testing out tool-paths for the CNC. The final piece was constructed using maple and stained with india ink. The birds were cast in bronze and the interior of the urn was laser cut with images and words.
